Blue Lake (Kosciuszko)
One of only four glacial cirque lakes on mainland Australia. Valley glaciers flowing off the Snowy Mountains icefield during the last glacial period carved this basin into granite; it is now the best-preserved glacial landscape in Kosciuszko National Park.
