Great Wall of China (Badaling)
The best-preserved and most-visited section of the Great Wall of China, rebuilt in stone and brick in 1504-1505 under the Ming dynasty to guard the Juyongguan Pass approach to Beijing - one restored stretch representing a fortification system built, rebuilt and extended across more than two millennia and thousands of kilometres, far too vast for any single pin to fully represent.
