Mireuksa
Ruined temple at Iksan, South Korea, the largest in the Baekje kingdom, founded in 602 by King Mu. The Samguk yusa tells of a vision of Maitreya at a pond the king had drained to build it. Three pagodas stood in an east-west line, each with its own hall: a wooden one flanked by two in stone. The western stone pagoda is one of only two Baekje pagodas left standing and the oldest and largest in Korea; a second restoration finished 20 June 2018. Excavated from 1980. Coordinates: Wikipedia 36.0121/127.031 = Wikidata; the OSM name matches other temples in Daejeon and Yongin, not this site.
