Wreck of HMS Terror
HMS Terror, the second ship of Franklin's lost expedition, was abandoned with Erebus in April 1848. Her wreck was found in 2016 in Terror Bay off King William Island, 92 km south of where she was reported abandoned, after an Inuk crew member remembered seeing a mast in the ice there.
